Samir Sayegh’s work explores the limits of abstraction by pushing calligraphy beyond its traditional boundaries, seeking to “free it from the grip of language and religion.” This book brings together a series of abstract ink drawings on paper alongside hand-written texts in the tradition of Sufi masters, tracing his practice from inspiration to technique, and from the mind to the heart and the hand.
